Hey Everyone!!!!

We are so excited about starting this blog and hope that it will be a helpful source of tips, recipes, and encouragement!  Some the recipes you'll find here will be gluten free, others ~ not so healthy.....  :)   But no matter the food, we wish to share the JOY that always seems to come with creating something for family and friends to enjoy!
So come back to see more - we hope to post frequently.  (you cook every day, right?)

P.S.  We sort of owe the title of the blog to Melissa Anne.  She was insisting on playing "Tom Kitten" where she was Tom, Lillian was Samuel Whiskers, and Eady was Anna Maria.  (from The Tale of Samuel Whiskers, by Beatrix Potter)  We had been mulling over blog names for several days, (actually Lillian was going crazy - it was all she could think about!) when this line was quoted:

"Anna Maria," said the old man rat (whose name was Samuel Whiskers) - "Anna Maria, make me a kitten dumpling, roly-poly pudding for my dinner."
      "It requires dough and a pat of butter, and a rolling pin, said Anna Maria....."

We stopped playing.  It was perfect!  (It was Eady's idea to use it as the title.)
 We guarantee there will be no recipes calling for kitten.
